New Delhi – Batra Hospital, Batra Cancer Centre in collaboration with Cancer Sahyog, Global Cancer Concern, Cansupport and Sahyog,  will organize a free one day interdisciplinary workshop for women with breast cancer. Workshop will be held at the Auditorium, India International Centre, Max Muellar Marg, New Delhi between 10AM to 3PM on Sunday August 29, 2010.
This workshop aims to dwell upon a very important but untouched areas of the lives, mind states of cancer survivors and their ordeal to first defeat the cancer and then remove the scar caused on their lives. Typically she receives lots of supports from her family members and doctors, paramedical staff. Role model to bring about a radical change in the attitude towards life can really help to recover fast but is difficult to find. Hence various support groups help rebuild their esteem and zeal to live a fruitful life.
This is a solutions workshop and aims to touch upon subject of diet supplements, physiotherapy, exercises, meditation, psychological tools to rejuventae and relive the purpose of life and to enjoy this gift of God to its fullest.
I hope more and more survivors and their families can take time out on a Sunday to reaffirm our resolve to defeat this tragedy and convert it into a blessing in disguise!
